In today’s news, Australia pledges funds to support recovery and mine removal efforts in Cambodia. US study finds screen exposure in early childhood may alter long-term brain development, energy and utility companies create new environmental hub in Italy, Kenya becomes first African nation to receive urgent climate disaster funding, dedicated volunteers in Canada rescue cat-people after three-day stakeout, Swedish food tech firm upcycles oat milk pulp into fiber-rich protein powder, and former Chinese slaughterhouse owner transitions to compassionate business ahead of animal-people meat festival.

Camping trips with the family are great fun but you also need to be well prepared to have a safe time. Today I would like to share a camping and car care tip with you. If you’re camping with your vehicle and need to keep the trunk open for a long time, some drivers use a small carabiner clipped into the trunk latch to make the vehicle think the trunk is closed. On certain models, this switches off the interior light and the open-trunk warning, which helps reduce battery drain. It depends on how the latch is built, though, so it won’t work on every vehicle. Give it a quick test before relying on it overnight. To avoid damaging the latch or electric tailgate, always use a brightly colored carabiner or attach a visible ribbon or cord as a reminder to remove it before closing the trunk. When you’re ready to close up, press the trunk release button first so the latch opens normally, then remove the carabiner before shutting the trunk securely.

If you don’t want to disturb the neighbors with your laughter, don’t listen to our joke of the day, entitled, “The Jumping Antelope.”

Pippa was reading animal-people facts when Warren wandered over.

“Did you know some antelopes can jump higher than the average house?”

“Really? Because of their powerful legs?”

“Yeah, that, and because the average house can’t jump!”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Aulacese (Vietnamese), with multiple-language subtitles, from disciples in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
