Previously in Parts 1 and 2 of this multipart series on Josh Miles’s near-death experience, Josh described becoming critically ill with COVID in 2020. While his father drove him to the hospital in a truck, Josh says he suffered a stroke, heart attack, and seizure at the same time. He recalls leaving his body and being pulled into a realm he recognized as hell. There, he experienced darkness, torment, and profound regret as he realized how GOD had protected him during his earthly life and recalled the opportunities he had missed to draw closer to HIM. Josh believed he would never escape hell. In Part 3, he shares how his father responded to the crisis and describes an unexpected journey into Light.
Josh later learned that his father believed he had died in the truck. Remembering the biblical account of Lazarus, whom Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian) raised from the dead, his father called Josh’s name and rebuked the devil. At first, Josh could hear his father calling him, but once he was pulled down into hell, he could no longer hear what was happening in the truck. Learning about his father’s response filled him with admiration.
He lived in a moment that was such a spiritual place he had with GOD that he had a reflex in the spirit. His reflex was to pray. And at that time, when he was doing that, driving on the interstate, one hand on me, one hand on the wheel, I believe those prayers were transitioning me from my [hellish] state to the heaven state in that experience. While still in hell, Josh had no idea he would ever leave. He believed he would remain there for eternity. When the transition came, it felt like entering another dimension, changing his whole sense of being purpose, and energy. He describes the journey from hell to Heaven:
Going from that, it’s like you go through this tunnel, almost, of Light. But it’s like every color Light, but it’s all put together, and you’re moving through it so fast that it all just looks white. Although Heaven seemed unimaginably far away, Josh says he reached it in the blink of an eye. He knew at once where he was. Soon as I got to Heaven, there was nothing on my mind but Heaven. There was not one family member that crossed my mind. Not one anybody. Nothing crossed my mind in Heaven except for GOD HIMSELF. Literally. I didn’t remember anything from here. I didn’t remember anything from hell. Nothing. All of it was just literally about GOD at that moment. Josh describes a place of overwhelming Light. His body felt perfect, with no need for food, and he felt like a complete being.
I don’t believe we as humans, a normal human, can handle that amount of Light. But it’s a place of lightness. It’s a place of bliss. It’s a place of peace. It’s a place of serenity. He never wanted to experience another place again. The greatest bliss, though, was being so close to GOD. In Part 4, Josh describes standing before GOD’s throne and the extraordinary beings he saw in Heaven, all focused on GOD.
There’s a stillness about GOD that is so powerful that HIS presence, it’s like it’s thunder. It’s like Heaven has this soft thunder to it at all times. Join us tomorrow for Part 4 of this multipart series on Josh Miles’s near-death experience. (GOD Encounters with Janie DuVall YouTube channel)
